Access more than one Google account at the same time without logging out
Chrome User accounts will allow you to log in to more than one Google account at the same time.
Setting up a second or third Google Chrome profile is a very handy way to keep your work and home life separate - or manage two work Gmail accounts. Using different profiles allows you to log in to a different Google account without logging out of your existing session - or, if you have Chrome Sync enabled, to set up a sync with a new account and keep bookmarks and more separate.
To create a new Chrome user account:
- Click the top left icon in the tab bar and select New user.
- Log in to the new account using your Google credentials.
- Alternatively go to the Spanner Icon (top right) and select Settings > Personal Stuff > Users > Add new user
You now have two completely separate Google Apps sessions, each open in a different Chrome window. Each session will be synced independently and you can switch between sessions using the icon in the tab bar or by switching windows.
You can rename your Chrome User Account and change the icon in the Settings > Personal Stuff > Users section. So you could for example have a "Home" and "Work" profile with a nice icon for each one.
