Hide rows in a Google Spreadsheet

To hide a row, right click on the row number on the left of the spreadsheet and choose Hide row.

To hide multiple rows in a Google Spreadsheet, click on the first row and drag across the rows you wish to hide, or hold the Shift key and click on the last row you want to hide. Then right click and select Hide rows X – X, where X indicates the numbers of the rows you have selected.

To unhide rows click the arrow icon that appears over the hidden row numbers.

Hide columns in a Google Spreadsheet

To hide a column, right click on the column letter at the top of the spreadsheet and choose Hide column.

To hide multiple columns, click on the first column and drag across the columns you wish to hide, or hold the Shift key and click on the last row you want to hide. Then right click and select Hide columns X – X, where X indicates the letters of the columns you have selected.

To unhide columns click the arrow icon that appears over the hidden column letters.
