Drive makes group projects easier because everyone can share files and work together, but sometimes it can be hard to keep track of the history of changes that are being made to files and folders, especially when content changes so often. To solve this problem, you’ll notice a recently added activity stream in Drive – a simple and effective tracker to review every action taken on your files and folders.
Follow these 3 simple steps and start tracking your activity stream:
1. Click My Drive
2. Click the ⓘ button in the top-right hand corner of your screen.
3. Scroll down in the box that pops up on the right-hand side of the screen to see activity organised with the most recent changes at the top.
It’s also easy to only see what you’re interested in. Just select any file or folder and the stream will change instantly to show information relevant to that item.
