Google Sites now includes keyboard shortcuts that allow you to do many tasks without using the mouse. These great improvements range from new keyboard shortcuts for editors (like Alt+Shift+F for opening the editor toolbar) to better viewing experiences for readers. Editors can now also set image width to 100% of the screen width and easily customise the font, color, and size of lower-level headers.

If you don’t want to use keyboard shortcuts:

  • Click the gear icongear icon at the top of the page.
  • Click User settings.
  • Uncheck the box next to Enable keyboard shortcuts.
  • Click “Save changes.”
