Google explain how your emails get where you send them
Google have released a short video and an interactive website explaining how an email travels from your desktop through their data centres.
Take a behind the scenes journey through Google's data centres by following an email along it's route from your inbox to it's destination. The video and website - called the Story of Send - explain how the information in your email makes its journey through the real world, including spam filtering, virus scanning and details of how Google uses clean energy to minimise the impact on our environment.
